About Us - Morgan Dias Immigration
In 2006 Bettina Yarde, Managing Director, spotted her niche in immigration. Many legal firms were closing immigration departments in an increasingly stringent regulatory environment. Bettina saw this as an opportunity!
Bettina's vision - an immigration legal company which placed individuals first, valuing not just the prospect of success for a case but empowering the client with the value of having someone care about their personal circumstances. Instead of taking the easy option of a Legal Services Commission Contract Bettina decided to use a fixed fee business model. Without a Legal Services Commission Contract came wider scope for which clients could receive assistance.
On 5th February 2007 Bettina launched Morgan Dias Immigration Consultants Ltd on core values.

About Waseem Nazir
Waseem joined Morgan Dias in November 2010. He initially became interested in working in asylum and immigration whilst working as a volunteer advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau. This interest developed further whilst working at Sheffield Law Centre, by which time he had chosed this as the area of law in which he wished to specialise. Waseem says that 'working in this area of law provides an oppurtunity to help people who are fleeing persecution and horrendous treatment and trying to build a better life in the UK. It can be challenging at times, but at the same time extremely rewarding.'
